Winchester, Virginia (May 2010) – Elsie Rose, CPA, Principal, Yount, Hyde & Barbour and Kelly Samson-Rickert, Ed.D., SPHR, Human Resources and Benefits Manager, Shenandoah University will discuss the unique financial issues that face women at the Money-Wise Women workshop. This workshop was developed by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants in connection with Financial Literacy. The May 20, 2010, seminar will take place at Halpin-Harrison Hall ~ Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business at Shenandoah University. Registration will begin at 2pm with the seminar running 2:30-5:00pm. 

Elsie will discuss how women can identify and become aware of resources and opportunities to overcome financial obstacles. Elsie has successfully conducted this seminar for several companies over the past three years. Kelly will delve into retirement trend data as it relates to genders. Each person attending is sure to take away the ability to be more aware of financial health.
