Richmond – Thousands of extraordinary certified public accountants (CPA) work in Virginia, but this year’s “Super CPA” contest in Virginia Business magazine identifies nearly 300 “best of the best” of the CPA profession. Yount, Hyde & Barbour, P.C. is pleased to announce the following winners of the prestigious contest: Greg Crawford, Business Valuation/Litigation; Teresa Jordan, Corporate Taxation; Olivia Hutton, Government/Nonprofit; Elsie Rose, Government/Nonprofit; Steve Spitzer, Government/Nonprofit; Bob Dale, Individual Tax; Tom Moler, Personal Financial Planning; Jim Snyder, Small Business Consulting; and Niki White, Young CPA. In its ninth year, Virginia Business partnered with the VSCPA to develop this special program to highlight Virginia’s top certified public accountants for their important contributions to the CPA profession and the prosperity of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Virginia Business sent an official ballot to more than 7,000 Virginia CPAs asking them to identify the names of peers they considered to be the best at their craft. After the ballots were counted, 270 winners were selected in 12 categories and were highlighted in a special “Super CPAs” report in the November 2009 issue of Virginia Business.
