Richmond, Virginia – Accountants sometime go nuts during tax season, but this time we’re going nuts over Richmond’s new baseball team. Yount, Hyde & Barbour, P.C. welcomes Richmond Flying Squirrels to our community.
Richmond Flying Squirrels is a Class AA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The inaugural 2010 season will officially bring baseball back to Richmond. Fittingly for YHB, April 15 is the first home game.
Last week the excitement abounded as our staff saw Nutzy arrive. The Richmond Flying Squirrels’ mascot came to visit our offices in Innsbrook. Each staff received as many high-fives and photos as they wanted with the mascot, and his great personality brought a smile to the entire office.
January through April brings tax season. YHB acknowledges the dedication of our staff during this sometimes stressful time of year. To help, we provide ‘Stress Busters’ to lighten the spirits of each office. Nutzy’s visit and the anticipation of baseball returning to Richmond will surely help ‘bust stress’ all year.
The Richmond Flying Squirrels are dedicated to giving back to the community, and YHB supports those goals.
