Robert Dale, CPA
Attentiveness that brings peace of mind
Experience
Since beginning his career at Yount Hyde Barbour in 1976, Bob has focused his practice on providing tax planning, financial planning, estate planning and administration, and family office services to high net worth individuals. Bob also is highly experienced in the equine industry and has advised many clients on the tax issues related to horse ownership, as well as on land conservation easements and Virginia LPC tax credits. He has been named a Super CPA in individual tax services by Virginia Business magazine.
Expertise
Bob specializes in making sure that clients’ tax, financial, and estate plans are in line not only with their financial goals, but also with their personal, charitable, and legacy objectives. His attentiveness in overseeing a client’s finances takes the work out of financial management and provides the peace of mind of knowing that bills are paid and everything is well taken care of. And his ability to help clients understand their finances facilitates decision-making and builds trust in his recommendations.
Approach
To custom-tailor his services to the client’s situation, Bob looks at a client’s financial needs, investments, other assets, and tax returns. He also discusses their personal and financial objectives, and how they use their money. Then he sees to what degree their current strategies line up with their financial needs and investment objectives. On the basis of this information, Bob works with clients to map out appropriate plans, and coordinates implementation with their other advisors. Finally, he periodically checks to see how the plans are working and what changes or updates may be needed.
