November 30 , 2005 Winchester, Va -- Yount, Hyde & Barbour, P.C. (YHB), one of the leading certified public accounting (CPA) and business consulting firms in Virginia, announced that Elaine Cain, CPA has become a Principal in the firm. Cain has provided accounting services to individuals, businesses and other organizations for over 11 years. Her background includes extensive tax consulting work with a broad range of clients and significant audit experience, particularly in the non-profit and governmental industries. She is also a member of YHB’s Estate and Trust Services Team, helping individuals develop effective estate, trust and gift planning strategies. A native of Winchester, Cain joined YHB in 1994 after graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). She currently serves as Treasurer of Healthy Families of the Northern Shenandoah Valley and is a member of the Winchester Kiwanis Club.
