YHB has an immediate need for a full time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in our Leesburg VA office. The ideal candidate will have a track record of providing amazing customer service, the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and experience in a professional services firm. Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the office ambassador and the first point of contact for clients and guests
  • Provide excellent customer support, collaborating with team members when necessary
  • Answers calls so that the caller is left knowing that they are important and their request or concern will be handled as professionally and efficiently as possible.
  • Handles all scanning and filing of client documents
  • Prints prepared tax returns for processing
  • Retrieves files for client meetings during tax season
  • Logs client tax returns into document management software
  • Coordinates distribution of completed tax returns to clients via pick up or mail/fedex
  • Sorts and distributes mail
  • Sets up new clients in time and billing software and prepares client engagement letters including all business and fiduciary engagement letterSets up client appointments and coordinates conference room scheduling
  • Able to work under high pressure deadline sensitive work environment. (only during tax seasons)

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree, with a focus in either Business or Finance highly sought after
  • 2-4 years of administrative experience required
  • Desire to work within Public Accounting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with advance knowledge of Outlook and Word, and experience using excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Well organized and able to multi-task
  • Able to operate in a deadline-driven office
  • Able to work in a small, team oriented environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Maintain a business professional appearance
  • Willing to work overtime and Saturdays during peak periods
