YHB is committed to responding as quickly as possible to developments regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We are following the recommendations provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia and the CDC.  While the risk of contracting the coronavirus in the U.S. is currently low, we will follow the advice of local and national public health authorities.

In response to additional guidance given by the Virginia Department of Health and the CDC concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus), YHB will be deploying these additional measures:

  • YHB offices are closed to the public until further notice. We encourage you to use our secure file transfer portal for sending documents. Offices will only accept paper documents sent by mail (USPS, FedEx, etc…) Please do not drop off documents in person.
  • Staff continue to work remotely, and are available by phone and email if you have questions or concerns. We are well-equipped technologically and operationally, and have taken steps to ensure our ability to serve you with minimal disruption.
  • All tax returns will be delivered digitally or, if requested, by mail. Arrangements for paper copies to be picked up can be made once our offices reopen.

What You Can Do

YHB has plans and systems in place to continue providing exceptional service to you during this time. To help keep everyone healthy and continue serving you, we encourage clients to utilize our remote capabilities. Below are some options available.

Secure File Transfer
YHB has the ability to send and receive files using a secure file transfer portal, known as ShareFile. This option eliminates the need to mail or hand deliver sensitive documents.

DocuSign
In addition, some documents can be signed digitally via DocuSign. This allows you to electronically sign documents without needing to print, sign and scan it back to us. It also automatically notifies us when you’ve completed signing the documents so we can keep the process moving forward.

Virtual Meetings
YHB has the ability to video conference and share screens utilizing the latest in conferencing software. When requested, your YHB team member can setup a virtual meeting with you and provide a call-in number and link to utilize video and screen sharing. This can be done from a phone or computer.
